The daily theme topics of the week include:

Monday, April 1: Ensuring a Safe, Healthy Home for Your Family: Health and safety begin at home. Make prevention a family tradition.

Tuesday, April 2: Providing a Safe Environment for Children at School: Schools are the perfect setting for improving child health.

Wednesday, April 3: Creating a Healthy Workplace: Wellness and safety in the workplace are good for health and for business.

Thursday, April 4: Protecting You While You're on the Move: Safety is often tied to community design.

Friday, April 5: Empowering a Healthy Community: Support local and national public health efforts that create healthy opportunities for all.

Alabama Cooperative Extension System (ACES) programs fit into the themes of public health week. From the Healthy Homes programs that we provide throughout the state, to the School IPM programs we facilitate with schools ACES is involved in public health. Extension leadership and economic development programs empower communities to create the healthy communities that we all desire.
