​Within the past week, labels for new auxin herbicide formulations were approved for the state of Alabama.  24(c) Special Local Need Labels for Monsanto's Xtendimax with Vaporgrip Technology, BASF's Engenia, and Dow's Enlist Duo herbicide were approved.  The 24(c) labels state that The producer, certified applicator, or person responsible for the application of these products on cotton or soybeans in-crop must attend Auxin Herbicides-Best Management Practices training that is approved by the Alabama Department of Agriculture and Industries.  The 24(c) labels also reduce maximum wind speed for application to 10mph. A $10 fee will be associated with all meetings after February 9th.
