​The Agronomic Crops Team from the Alabama Cooperative Extension System is pleased to announce a series of monthly webinars for 2016.  The webinars can be viewed live at 9 AM on the second Tuesday of each month.  They are also being recorded so you can view each segment at your convenience. 

The January 12 webinar provided information on nitrogen management, fungicides for small grains, second herbicide applications for small grains, the economic outlook for summer field crops, and tips for scouting for insects in winter grain crops:

Dr. Kip Balkcom provided advice on applying winter nitrogen on wheat, including a discussion of whether tiller counts are useful in Alabama:
