Annie’s Project is a three-session intensive agri-business management seminar for women with a passion for business and involvement, and a desire to increase knowledge and skills. The program is named for Annie, a woman who grew up in a small town in Northern Illinois. Her goal was to marry a farmer, which she did. Annie spent her lifetime learning how to be an involved business partner with her farm husband. Together they did great things, but it wasn't easy. Annie's Project takes her experiences and shares it with farm women living and working in a complex business.

The cost is $50 per participant and includes lunch, a leather notebook, and support materials.

Sessions are on various agribusiness related topics including:

·      Marketing

·      Business plans

·      Insurance

·      Financial records

·      Communications, and much more

Classes meet three Thursdays from 10:00 a.m.-4:00 pm (lunch included) at the Macon County Extension office, 207 North Main Street, Tuskegee, AL 36083
