Mastering the Mysteries of Love, a four-week program sponsored by the Alabama Cooperative Extension System, Circle of Care Center for Families and Sword of the Spirit, is set to begin Feb.10 at the Sword of the Spirit Ministry at Christian Memorial (1644 Hwy 431) in Roanoke. Classes will run from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Feb. 10, 17, 24 and March 4.
"This is a requested program to celebrate February Healthy Marriages Month," says Debra Ward, an Extension regional agent in Family and Child Development and a national certified family life educator. The free classes will help couples learn how to communicate better, fight less, solve problems and build unity in their relationships.
To make reservations, contact ACES at (256) 357-2841.
The classes are part of the Alabama Healthy Marriage and Relationship Education Initiative, a partnership between Auburn University, 10 Family Resource Centers and two Mental Health Centers to foster healthier marriages and relationships throughout Alabama.
