The Alabama Water Watch will conduct two workshops in Auburn April 5 and 6. The workshops will be held in the AWW Classroom (246 Upchurch Hall) on the AU campus.
Bacterial water monitoring techniques will be taught Friday, April 5 from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., and water chemistry monitoring will be taught Saturday, April 6 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Upon successful completion of each class, participants will be certified through Alabama Water Watch to submit monitoring results for local waterbodies. Continuing Education Units are available through Auburn University.
The workshop is free to the public thanks to the support of the Mobile Bay Estuary Program. Pre-registration is required and class size is limited.
