Fall armyworms in pastures or hayfields were reported in the week of June 30-July 6 in the following Alabama counties: Choctaw, Dale, Henry, Lee, St. Clair, Wilcox, and Washington. The fall armyworm watch map has been updated: Please let me know if you find them so we can keep updating the map.

Injury from bermudagrass stem maggot is also starting to show up. Please let me know if you have found bermudagrass stem maggot injury in your bermudagrass. Jennifer Johnson and I want to start a map showing where it has been found as well.
